Padang Padang to Tanah Lot

We took a trip south of Kuta, Bali to stay a night in Suluban, which is known mostly for its world-class surfing at Uluwatu and Padang Padang beaches. We were super excited though to find some great climbing on some short limestone cliff on the beach!
Uluwatu beach held some beautiful caves, coral beaches, and swimming in the reef at low tide.

From Suluban we made the short trip over to Uluwatu temple where we found some mischievous little monkeys in the temple high up on a cliff over the ocean at sunset:
At Uluwatu temple we saw the Kecak and fire dance, a traditional Balinese dance with fifty men chanting/beat-boxing/singing throughout.

After a night in Suluban we headed back to Kuta. From here we took a day trip out to the iconic Hindu temple of Pura Tanah Lot with a couple new friends for sunset.
Some sleepy bats, and cevit cats (the ones that poop out the special coffee beans - google it) hanging out in front of a shop.
